Case study: First Light

First Light is a charity supporting people in Cornwall, Devon and Wiltshire who have been affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence.

They wanted to make their services more accessible and inclusive for clients with protected characteristics and clients for whom language presented a barrier.

Thanks to a grant from The Inclusivity Project, First Light have been able to digitise key service documents, using QR codes to make them more easily available and translating them into other languages.

This not only makes First Light more accessible to more people, but it reduces costs for the organisation and makes it easier for staff to keep essential information updated.
